The delicate Temari pattern applied by hand one by one is a representative work of Morihisa 15th, who expresses warmth and softness in hard, cold iron. Most tetsubin have the design only on the upper half of the body, but this has the design on the entire surface. The lines are individually pressed with a spatula, giving the tetsubin a soft, hand-crafted atmosphere despite the geometric patterns. Fukurozuru handle and Waguchi mouth rim.

The ions in the tetsubin dissolve and remove chalk and chlorine from the water, producing a mild, sweet hot water. This sweetness is said to go well with the bitterness of green tea and deep-roasted coffee.
